Gift Cards for Local Businesses

— Giftbar Team

Giftbar is providing digital gift card services to communities affected by COVID-19. We are working directly with Chambers of Commerce to give merchants technology to offer gift cards to their clients where social distancing would have prevented sales for these highly-impacted businesses.

The City of Clovis, CA, who partnered with Giftbar in one such effort, described the program as a “one-stop-shop to purchase electronic gift cards” for struggling businesses.

One of the benefits for local businesses is that they can use Giftbar as another “resource to make ends meet and preserve the livelihood of these community members during this difficult time,” the City of Clovis noted, “[and] the gift cards can be used once restaurants open for business-as-usual again.”

“These are our neighbors and our friends and this is our chance to support them,” said Mayor Drew Bessinger.

We’re grateful to offer yet another way to serve the community, connect businesses with their clients, and to keep it local.
